Description
a traditional blend of Tempranillo with approximately 15% other varieties—Valenciano (Bobal)
essence of pear and a whiff of citrus character
The price of this tends to be set by the market (although it was around 250 euros with the producer's wine club)
This is a quality Bourgogne and worth a look
And a spicy
Caroline Morey, Chassagne Montrachet Champs Gains Vintage:2020 a traditional blend of Tempranillo(from vines planted in 2009). An airy and pretty if not especially dense nose combines notes of white orchard fruit, especially pear, with those of citrus, wood and resin. The delicious and round flavors also display good punch that contrast somewhat with the youthfully austere and reasonably long finish. This will need to add depth if it is to merit the upper end of my projected range. (89 92) 2024+
